More and more, social media is a force driving advocacy. Join us to learn how to harness the power of social media for your movement!

➡️ RSVP to receive the Zoom link to participate!

Water Watchers is rooted in grassroots advocacy, but the grassroots advocacy landscape has changed rapidly over the last decade. Social media is an important tool in today's digital world and data shows more and more people are getting their information from social media platforms. Social media literacy will only become more important for grassroots movements to sustain and build their power.

In this training, we'll de-mystify the social media advocacy landscape and explore specific techniques to boost your groups' movement-building skills through the strategic use of social media tools & practices.

Together, we will learn how to:

  • Utilize core social media features and avoid common mistakes
  • Design the right kind of content to drive action
  • Connect with your audience meaningfully
  • Use targeted ads to grow your reach
  • Leverage AI to upgrade your communications
  • Recruit volunteers to support your work
