Water Watchers is a remote-first organization with staff, volunteers, and supporters across the Great Lakes Region and beyond. We maintain a presence in particular across southern Ontario and remain rooted in the communities surrounding Guelph, ON, where Water Watchers was founded in 2007.

We live, work, play, and depend on the traditional and treaty lands and territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabeg, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat, which are governed by the many agreements and wampums. We are all treaty peoples on these lands and encourage all in our networks to learn more about the lands and waters you're connected to and to live out your allyship in solidarity with Indigenous-led movements.
