Hosted by Guelph Tree Trust
Come see arborists work on Guelph’s Tree of the Year!

The winner of the first Guelph Tree of the Year contest is a Bitternut Hickory tree that is over 100 years old with a massive diameter of over 1 meter. It stands just beyond the clubhouse of the Guelph Country Club.
Guelph Tree Trust invites you to join them at the Guelph Country Club, near the tree on April 15th at 10am to observe as a team of specially trained arborists, led by Doug Steel of Full Circle Tree Care, climb high into the canopy to administer life-preserving care for this legacy tree.
This Tree Care Day offers a unique opportunity for community members to observe professional arboriculture in action and to learn more about the care required to preserve mature heritage trees.
