Fall & Rise: an immersive theatre experience to grieve ecological loss and call in hope

The immersive nature of the event is designed to create a gentle space to open up to the background radiation of grief that permeates our lives, give it room so it can be seen and named, and to call in active hope to lift our spirits.

Net funds will go towards Wellington Water Watchers and The Ignatius Old Growth Forest Project.

Tickets are available at The Bookshelf, Loyola House and through me for $25 cash only. The ticket price includes HST and handling at The Bookshelf.

The event will run from 3:30-6:30pm Ocotber 16th, rain or shine.

Please arrive promptly at or before 3:15pm so as to not miss the buses that will take us over to The Igantius Old Growth Forest Project for the show.

The performance will include a land acknowledgement, a tree art installation, a walk through the forest to experience immersive arts performances such as dance, circus arts, soundscapes, theatrical performance, spoken word and much more.

Please bring footwear to hike in, a reusable water bottle, an object of grief and/or hope to hang on the tree, warm clothing and rain gear if needed.

Donations to Wellington Water Watchers, The Old Growth Forest Project and to sponsor any audience members who may not be able to afford the price are all welcome. For more information, contact: [email protected]
